ZONING COMPLIANCE and SIGNAGE: Prior to beginning any residential or business construction or installing/repairing/altering any sign within the Town of Danbury or it’s extra-territorial jurisdiction, residents and business owners must secure a Zoning Compliance Permit and/or a Sign Permit.
Zoning Compliance Permits are $35 and Sign Permits are $10.
Rezone fees are as follows:
- R-1, R-2, R-3:
- $150 for less than 1 acre.
- $200 for 1 but less than 3 acres.
- $300 for 3 to 5 acres.
- $300 plus $25 for each acre over 5.
- R-4:
- $250 for less than 1 acre.
- $300 for 1 but less than 3 acres.
- $400 for 3-5 acres.
- $400 plus $25 for each acre over 5.
- B-1:
- $200 for less than 1 acre.
- $300 for 1-3 acres.
- $300 plus $25 for each acre over 3.
- B-2:
